We provided advisory services at all stages of the process and carried out a restoration project involving both a facelift and interior revamp of the 49,514 square-feet, eleven-story building. The facility soon became the headquarters of a renowned European firm, and the project resulted in unleveraged earnings of 3x the investment.

Initially, this former garment factory built in 1912 —the year of the New York Public Library’s opening— was well worn, abandoned, and in a complicated legal situation that hindered its acquisition. We selected and managed a team of lawyers, which allowed us to resolve all legal affairs and move forward with the project. We could then simply focus on emphasizing the virtues of the original architecture, and on elevating the functionality and attractiveness of the building with cutting-edge design.
