In 2012 we acquired an asset from a Miami local bank with a view to reposition it, stabilize it, and keep it as property for rent. The building was a gallery that worked as a shopping center. Half of its 18 stores were initially empty, and few people visited it on a daily basis.
The repositioning strategy consisted of a selection process to find the best possible tenants based on a unified conceptual and aesthetic criterion. After a few years, this resulted in a significant improvement in the functioning of the gallery’s stores, which continue operating today.
